Q: What is (and isn't!) allowed in the skip?

It's important we know what type of waste you're looking to dispose of - please speak to us so we can provide the best advice. Please also note you must only fill it to the fill-level. We cannot (by law) drive the skip away if it's overfilled.

Q: Do I need a permit for skip hire?

Please speak to us - we can advise and help with this. The skip is not allowed to block a public road.

Q: What happens with the waste?

We recycle as much as physically possible, at our waste transfer station in Accrington. We want to minimise the amount of waste going to landfill.

Q: What size skip do I need?

There's no point getting a skip that's too small (or too big). Too small and you've got the frustration of having to hire another one, or driving to the tip with your extra waste, which defeats the whole purpose. Too big and you've paid too much, and taken up too much space on your drive or property. Skips are measured in tonnage and cubic volume, but our team will give you the best advice.
